What is Honda Sensing™ Technology?

Honda Sensing™ technology is a suite of advanced Honda-exclusive safety features designed to increase your awareness in various situations while driving. Audible and visual warnings, radars, and cameras work together to detect and warn you about potential collisions, helping you to react in time. If you don’t, some safety systems will automatically intervene to reduce the vehicle’s speed or keep you on course.
 

How Honda Sensing™ Technology Keeps You Safe

 
Lane Departure Warning detects when you drifts from your lane without using your turn signal and alerts you audibly and visually until you return to your proper lane.

Lane Keeping Assist System does more than alert you when you unintentionally leave your lane. It adjusts the steering to bring you back to the center of your lane.
 
If you start to leave your lane without intending to turn, Road Departure Migration alerts you with vibrations through the steering wheel in the instance you’re too close to the side of the road, and then gently steers to help keep you on the road or brakes to keep from going off of it.

With Adaptive Cruise Control, you will maintain a set following distance between you and the vehicle in front of you, adjusting your speed with the flow of traffic. Some systems include Low Speed Follow, which is helpful in light traffic.

If an unavoidable collision is detected, the Collision Mitigation Braking System™ applies strong braking help to reduce collision severity.

Using a small camera mounted on the windshield, Forward Collision Warning detects whether a vehicle is too close in front of you. If you’re at risk of being involved in a collision, Forward Collision Warning alerts you with visual and audible warnings.
